The Penguin holiday video is my second video project with Penguin. This was a really fun project because I brought in all of my holiday decorations to the office and set them up at the shoot to get everyone in the holiday spirit! To top it off, I baked homemade (ish) sugar cookies and topped them with red and green sugar. My coworker brought in a Menorah for a multicultural feel, and I think everyone had a really good time when they came in to the shoot. I think that's one of the most important parts of doing a homegrown video piece... make it fun for everyone! Otherwise it's awkward and that really comes through in the final product.
I was humming Christmas Carols for a week and a half straight while I shot and edited this video! Sadly, between the candy canes, chocolates and Christmas cookies, it was not the most health-conscious of holiday videos, but I think it was totally worth it.
